Responsibility
Arlington’s Emergency Operations Center covers the dense entertainment district of Dallas-Ft Worth, one of the fastest growing and most populous metro areas in the United States. Over 400,000 people live in Arlington, and due to events and attractions, the population regularly swells to more than 800,000.
Challenge
Arlington chose Activu over a decade ago, and recently upgraded their facility and Activu software to better manage the growing metro area’s needs, and to better coordinate the around increasingly more high-profile, global events hosted in Arlington’s many facilities.
Solution
The EOC now has a seamless direct-view LED video wall, to go with the seamless situational awareness offered by Activu’s vis/ability platform.
Result
Over multiple breakout rooms and screens, and in the main command center, Arlington’s emergency operations team can easily move any content from any device or source to wherever, whenever it’s most critical. Most importantly the seamlessly provides information and collaboration when seconds matter most in a critical response.
